Since working out with Coach Mel, I have been able to move without pain in my ankle! I developed Achilles tendinitis about 2 years ago and after many visits to the podiatrist to get steroid injections, PT sessions, and at home remedies, my podiatrist said the only way it’ll cure is by wearing an orthotic. I just wasn’t ready to commit to that. This past April (while I was 7 months postpartum), I decided to workout with Coach Mel twice a week and noticed my Achilles tendinitis bothering me less and less. Now I have zero symptoms and full mobility in my ankle! I am back to doing my favorite yoga moves and can go down a flight of stairs while holding my baby without holding onto the railing for dear life. And I am feeling so strong and confident. While working out with Coach Mel, I feel safe, challenged, and motivated! She’s the best!
