Cobblestone Animal Hospital

Disappointed by this Animal Hospital. Our dog has a continual life long problem that requires renewing prescriptions. When we call to renew we are told must be seen by the vet. If the problem has not changed, then why must we pay to see the vet to get the same items? The expense of the prescriptions and pills is enough. Additional expense is not required on pet owners for the vet to enter the room and increase the bill a large amount. Just a policy that needs to be reviewed for animals suffering years with the same problem. As an update to the review. We went to another animal hospital in Brantford to get a second opinion on our dog. We did not know but the medication our dog requires is available at the counter by this animal hospital. When I explained my frustration to the Doctor about our regular vet's policy my jaw dropped when he told us we could pick up the needed medication without an appointment. It is just a topical spray. So the policy of the Cobblestone Animal hospital as discussed above requiring our dog to be seen by a vet for repeated visits and renewals of mediation and not simply allowing us to buy the medicated spray at the counter needs to be reviewed. Please Doctors at Cobblestone Animal hospital look to see what your fellow practitioners do. Look at your vet hospital policy. Are you being fair to customers to enforce customers pay for an examination simply to get a medication that can be bought at the counter? Maybe the technicians that answer the phone do not know this and are in fact forcing customers to go elsewhere as we did. Thanks for reading.

I have been using this vet office for years, and still continue to do so, even though I no longer live in town. They are the best! The staff are all very friendly & helpful, and you can tell they really care about pets. Melanie is a fantastic vet; she really takes the time to explain things in detail and answer any questions I have. She is honest & straight forward, which I really appreciate, especially when it comes to my senior dogs. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do!

Just started going here so far. Really enjoying this place. I had heard that one of the vet techs here has dachshunds of her own. So that's one of the things that led me here and after being here. Definitely staying, the staff were so friendly making my dogs feel so comfortable playing with them. They love the staff themselves. Holly kept rolling on to her back saying rub my belly lol, We have two dachshunds, Holly is 3 years old and Emma is almost 16. I would definitely recommend this place
