This review comes a few years late. I read reviews about Laura and reached out to her. I was with her for just a few months. I found her to be a "listener" more than action-oriented. She had a dog there a few times, which I found distracting. She also once forgot about my appointment and was walking her dog in the park, and when I reached out, she didn't offer a make-up or alternative timings. I was quite pissed off. She also recommended another therapist to work out marital issues who was completely unqualified, had never done marriage therapy, and did things that were just unprofessional. At that time I didn't realize it but looking back, I realize that both therapists, Laura and her friend, are not good therapists. Since then, I have worked with other therapists for myself and my kids, and have realized that what was offered as therapy was not really that. In all, I am glad that my time with Laura was short-lived. I already had doubts about my sessions, and after she forgot the appointment and kept me waiting for almost 30 minutes or so without any alternatives, I never went back.
