Im very impressed with the rooms, service and the breakfast is amazing! The rooms have everything, to make them feel like home. The staff is very nice, and helpful. My check in experience with Tia was welcoming, quick! The fresh baked cookies and cold sweet tea just topped it off! I will definitely recommend The Lodge!!

The staff was extra friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding with a full complement of homemade cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, breakfast casserole, biscuits and gravy, scrambled and boiled eggs, and etc. It was a really great price and convenient to I-70. The motel is old but mostly kept up; the area is not the most attractive, but we felt safe. Things were clean, and it was quiet.

Positive: The kids loved the DEEP pool. The beds were pretty comfy and the pillows were amazing - there were 5 on my king bed! I loved it! Breakfast had great options and was delicious. My whole family enjoyed breakfast both mornings we were there. Negative: We had a 2 bedroom "suite" - a room with a king bed and a room with a queen/full bed and a pull out couch. The bathroom in the king bedroom was TINY and only had a toilet and sink. Only shower in the "suite" was in the kids room.

Lovely, clean clean hotel with a wonderful overnight staff. The room is small and a little dated, some stains on the carpet, etc., but the overall charm of the place makes up for that. The lobby is just amazing and includes a homemade restaurant quality breakfast. It is pet friendly and has a huge array of room types, including one with 3 beds and a suite with 2 bathrooms, at really fair prices. The location is easy off the interstate and has ample parking. The area feels safe. The only small things were the lack of cookies on both evenings (would have been a plus, not a big deal) and the evening clerk was a little... curt? when I asked about them.
