Customer experiences
Amazing staff! They had me in a room with an IV in within 5 minutes of walking in. I came in with horrible pain and nausea. I had been throwing up for 2 days and horrible pain in my lower back. I knew I was dehydrated and have very small vains that blow easily, but the amazing nurses were able to get my blood drawn and IV setup quickly and with almost no discomfort. The doctor was in fast and testing starting very quick. They were able to start fluids, anti-inflammatory, anti nausea, and pain medication going which was such a relief. They had my CT and urine sample tested done in a a timely matter. They were able to find i had a kidney stone and a start of infection with my urine and start my treatment right away (finding an antibiotic that I could take despite my allergies). They were almost a 40 minute drive for us, but I will definitely be going here again if we need an ER.
Worst hospital I have ever been in. If you do not have insurance they treat you like a homeless person. Also if you know what medication will make you better and you tell the doctor you need it they will give you anything but what you want. The doctors are very unprofessional (especially the main female doctor). I was in agonizing pain and they refused to listen to me. I had to go to south bend urgent care the very next day and they actually listened. I only gave one star because it wouldn’t go lower. This place needs shut down
My grandmother, who is in her 90s, was taken to Community Hospital of Bremen this past weekend. My aunt is my grandmother’s caretaker & a staff member asked her if she wanted my grandmother to stay at the hospital or return to her nursing home. My aunt thought she would recover quicker at the hospital. The staffer asked a Dr. Kizilbash about this, & Dr. Kizilbash told the staffer to ask my aunt, “What does she hope to accomplish?” In other words, why care for this elderly woman? Ageism aside, I would wonder what Dr. Kizilbash would hope to accomplish with his mother if she were in her 90s & needed treatment. Maybe he would let her perish but I doubt it. Unprofessional & lacking empathy are not characteristics I would hope for in medical treatment, & this is what you will find at Community Hospital of Bremen.
The nursing staff is beyond fantastic. Everyone at this hospital provides great care Only complaint i had was I had a couple of techs on my last day that were not patient-friendly.
Community Hospital of Bremen is a hospital.
