We had a great week long stay at the Luxe New York Style Basement Suit in Edmonton. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with any requests we had. Instructions to get in were straightforward and the apartment itself was lovely. Walking in, it was super clean, smelled amazing and all the little personal touches they added were adorable! They had all the basic necessities available including laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and toiletries. Highly recommend, thank you for the stay 😊

Truly Impressed with Coutigo Property! I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience with Coutigo Property. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and honestly a breath of fresh air. The team was super friendly, easy to talk to, and always quick to respond which made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. The property itself? Absolutely beautiful. Clean, stylish, and clearly well taken care of. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making sure guests feel comfortable and at home. If you’re looking for a place that combines quality, great service, and a warm touch, Coutigo Property is hands down the right choice. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!

Excellent stay! Fantastic view and patio. Cozy and relaxing condo! Bright and sunny with lovely furniture and the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Spotless and the heated parking was a plus! Wonderful hosts ! Highly recommend this stay! Close to everything and so quiet!

Update: I have removed the section on requiring a license after confirmation with RECA. That being said, these hosts are now mad at Google for me updating the review with factual and relevant information. I requested 2 things to happen from this incident, 1- a refund and 2- the space to be cleaned (ideally not allowing sewage to sit and seep into both concrete and finishined flooring and drywall for over 24 hours, with not even the toilet paper being cleaned up). I received 1 of the two requests, which was the refund Airbnb granted from the documentation provided. If I was a property owner I would be extremely concerned that an investment property was not adequately taken care of or cleaned up, resulting in exposure to potential health concerns, building and environmental concerns. The experience was unsafe and unacceptable. During our stay, the basement suite flooded with raw sewage that had built up over months. The hosts tried to dismiss this as “improper use,” but it was a clear and serious health hazard. No meaningful apology or resolution was offered, instead, our reasonable request for a refund was labeled “aggressive” and “unfair.” We ended up mopping sewage ourselves, only to be locked out of the unit afterward. We received multiple codes to enter the place due to Wi-Fi issues in the place and the hosts communicated it was user error in reviews. The contaminated room, locked by the hosts, was never cleaned during our stay at ANY time. The toilet paper in the photos were left there. A cleaner briefly attended, apologized, and left without addressing the hazard. On top of that, we were locked out of the unit twice during our stay. The severity of this situation required escalation to Airbnb’s executive team and reporting to local health authorities due to the risks involved. To make matters worse, all items, including the coffee box in the image, were exposed to the sewage. This was one of the most disturbing rental experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise avoiding this company. I’ve shared this publicly to ensure others are aware of the risks. Hazardous sewage incidents require specialized cleanup and air quality testing yet instead of addressing it properly, the hosts continued to downplay the situation, even communicating the simple maintenance problem was resolved when the clean up never happened. Full conversation uploaded along with images for full transparency. Why did I have to push so hard for a cleaner to come with a biohazard? Why was the locked room and laundry room never cleaned up? Note the times. I messaged at 10am. I didn't ask for the refund until close to 1pm. The cleaner didn't arrive until 1:40pm after my repeated requests to have it resolved. At 3:34 pm Airbnb messaged me directly confirming the space was still not cleaned and would not be. Unfortunately the mess behind the doors never got resolved, which is all of these photos attached.
