They are amazing with kids and made our children feel comfortable and happy right away. You can tell they truly care about children and families. We were especially touched when they saved a small lock of our younger child’s baby hair for us to take home. Such a kind and thoughtful experience—we highly recommend them.

Came in to get my son his very first haircut! I was very skeptical at first since I’m always afraid of getting his haircut. Shelby was super kind and did exactly what I asked her to! I showed her a picture as well and I’m extremely satisfied with the result! She was also very fun to talk to! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you Shelby🩷

We took our toddler here for his first professional haircut. From start to finish, the experience was stellar! It’s such a cute little place, and there’s so much going on, my kiddo was in awe. Everyone is very kid focused and the atmosphere is really warm and supportive. Shelby did his cut and she was absolutely delightful. She talked him through it, took her time, and made sure he (and we!) were comfortable and satisfied throughout every step of the process. 10/10 recommend!

I took my daughter to get her first haircut here. We weren't greeted when we walked in, so I went up to the front desk to check in. The guy sitting at the desk didn't even look up at me when I walked up and mumbled something before looking away again. I figured he was trying to figure something out so I didn't mind. The play structure in the waiting area was dirty and covered in hair trimmings. I understand it's how that can be unavoidable but when we arrived there weren't any other customers waiting so someone could easily have quickly wiped down the structure. Our stylist from the start appeared unenthused and annoyed about working there. She didn't interact with my daughter to try to make her feel more comfortable. My daughter's pretty social so luckily getting her into a chair was fine after a bit of complaining, but it could've been more easy if the stylist made an effort to let my daughter get familiar with her. I told her I wanted my daughter to get bangs because all of the hair on her crown falls forward and over her face. The stylist muttered passive-aggressively, "oh you wait a bit too long didn't you?" Because she saw how long my daughter's hair was. It's not like I just let her hair fall in front of her face, I would put it up with hair ties! The stylist sectioned a narrow piece of hair and asked me how short I wanted the bangs to be. I answered but also asked if it's possible to include a wider section of hair because I knew just from looking at the current section that there would still be hair in her eyes. The stylist was completely dismissive and said "the hair is going to fall where it wants to fall", which was a confusing response to my question. I press the issue. Exasperated, she resections the hair with the smallest increment compared to her first attempt. I give up and let her go with what she had. She was pleasant the rest of the appointment but still didn't really interact with my daughter that much. What's the point of going to a kid's hairstylist if the kid's experience isn't any different?? Yes, she put on Bluey on the tv but I can easily bring a tablet and do the same. The bangs ended up being uneven and I had to touch it up at home the following day. All in all, a huge waste of money to have my daughter's first hair cut experience ruined. They gave me coupons for future visits but I threw them away right after we left.
