If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to take a polar plunge indoors, this is your place! The pool area is proudly kept at a brisk 64 degrees—perfect if you’re a penguin. The “hot” tub clocks in at a toasty 98 degrees, which, to be fair, is about the temperature of a mildly annoyed cup of tea. When we asked if they could turn the heat up, management basically said, “Nope, we like our guests crisp and refreshed.” Kids didn’t mind—they’re basically amphibians—but every adult was huddled in hoodies, clutching towels like survival blankets. To make things even cozier, there’s a strict “no beverages of any kind” policy in the pool area. Not even a harmless can of beer while supervising the kids. No glass? Reasonable. No food? Fine. But no beverages at all? That’s a level of dryness I didn’t expect to experience poolside. Between the chill and the prohibition, the fun-to-hypothermia ratio was
unfavorable. Later, we asked if our group could use the breakfast area to eat pizza together one night. After some serious negotiation (I think we were one “pretty please” away from a hostage situation), they reluctantly agreed—but only if we cleaned it ourselves and personally escorted our trash to the dumpster out back. Nothing says “hospitality” like being handed a rag and told, “Good luck!” All in all, it’s a budget hotel, and you absolutely get what you pay for—just make sure to pack a parka, your own mop, and low expectations for warmth or welcome.

It was a pretty hotel lobby and the staff were very nice! The breakfast was ok. We got a misleading room as we got one with bunks but they didn't have them in the room when we arrived so we used a rollaway bed. The lady said she'd tell her manger to update that on the website and said others have said the same before. So hopefully they do update it. The room was semi clean 😬 I turned the TV for my daughter to see from the sofa bed and there was sticky stuff under it. But the carpets were stained up and smelt musty. The carpet could of used a good edge vacuuming. There were stains on my side of the king bed. Our toilet overflowed randomly and we had a broken shampoo bottle. A little disturbing but it was cheap and one night stay. Will not be back.

We stayed here for a weekend and DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! First it started with the tv it didn’t work at all it was static black and white and we asked and the lady claimed it was a new tv and not properly hooked up yet to the dish if we could watch tv there was only like 5 channels but it was either static or said no connection. When we got there the sink had toothpaste in it and spit and was stained yellow The shower was dirty there was black crud with hair in it. Tried to wash the crud down but the tub wouldn’t drain properly so we called and they had someone snake the drain the sink was also the same way after snaking the drain they didn’t even clean the tub it was even dirtier. The door to the room was broken screws falling out of it wouldn’t shut properly. The beds were yellow and stained badly and gross. The air conditioning sounded like someone was rolling marbles around a metal can all day and night. There was never someone at the desk you would have to call them and wait for them to come. It was not worth the money or the hassle don’t stay here. DONT RECOMMEND.

Gloria Clark checked us in and she was the kindest lady that made us feel welcome. We checked in early in the morning because the night before we stayed at a Super 8 in Council Bluffs that was run down. So when we got here we felt more relaxed. So thank you for your kind hospitality. Everything about this place is very nice. We will be back when we are in the area again.
