If you need a place to sleep, clean, efficient, comfortable bed at a reasonable price and in or near Onaga, I recommend the J-Bird. Not fancy, but fancy is probably not what you go to Onaga for. There are rooms with a full kitchen, but although I didn't need that, and as it turned out was able to get my frozen meals cooked in the microwave, there was a hot plate and some utensils in my room had I been staying more than one night and wanted to cook something in a skillet. Karla, the manager, is helpful and friendly.

Awesome staff and great service. Never felt so welcomed. I like these motels a bit more off the highway. The rooms have all the basics like refrigerator, microwave, TV etc. But the most important thing is that it's clean. Thank you for everything!

Being the only motel close to our destination, we was a little skeptical. After arriving we was very impressed, clean rooms, comfortable beds, awesome showers, comfortable enough. The owner was very easy to talk with and accommodating. I would have no problem staying here again or for a long time. Pictures do not do this justice. Need better pictures is my only opinion.

Nice place to stay. Visited son and family who live in Onaga KS. Clean andcomfortable room. Nice feature is programmable entry pad. No keys or key cards to mess with. Property is quiet and fit our needs perfectly
