Nice ladies at the front desk at check in. Room was clean and the bathroom was clean. However it took 10 minutes for the hot water to get hot. The bed was very comfortable. I would come back again.

We made a reservation for two rooms while in Oxon Hill. Check-in was quick and easy with no problem putting our rooms next to each other. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was hard and hot. The room stayed cool during a heat wave, but the A/C kept turning on and off all night... not too bad. Breakfast was included with our stay. It was predictable but good. Egg & cheese omelets, sausage, waffles, coffee, juice, etc... The hotel is in great proximity to downtown DC and the National Mall (20 min.), plus there are various shopping opportunities around the hotel only minutes away. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and I would recommend Comfort Inn, Oxon Hill, for people who want to visit DC but don't want the hassle of DC.

The staff was nice, but the hotel is not very clean. The floor and room I stayed on/in smelled awful, as did the elevator. The carpets, walls and ceilings had all kinds of stains on them. The sheets on both of the beds in my room had stains on them. The air conditioning in my room did not work. The walls are very thin, not really giving you privacy. The ice machine on my floor didn't work, the one on the floor behind me smelled. I did like that there were food and shopping options within walking distance of the hotel.

Food left on top of the air conditioner that was full of ants, someone's water bottle (not mine) left behind the night stand and black mold all over the bathroom with hair on it longer than the hair on my head (and I have a good head of hair). People were very friendly and great but the condition of the hotel is a dump....especially for $140 / night.
