I purchased a new battery for my cell phone with the intent of installing it myself. After receiving the battery and the repair tools from iFixit, I decided to take it to CPR to have it installed by professionals that do this type of work daily. I picked the phone up the same day. I noticed that the on/off button on the side doesn't work at all. The volume up button is now the on/off button and the volume down button doesn't work at all. I took the phone back immediately to have it fixed and was told that they do not guarantee the work when the owner supplies the parts. I wasn't told that originally. It just stands to reason that something was done to the phone when they put the battery in. The battery works fine. I Googled this issue and it says that the likely issue is caused by a misaligned flex cable or damaged flex cable from the battery install. I can only assume that they misaligned or damaged the flex cable. Very disappointed in their response. Will not be using them again.
Great quality parts. They also do in house hdmi ports. I got my Playstation 5 hdmi port fixed there with sameday trun around. The staff was so informative and explained every step of the repair to me. When I got there to get my Playstation 5 back. They took the time and showed me pictures of my device and what was repaired.
After reading some of these reviews it's true that you can't please everybody, a few people would complain if they were given a new phone for free, go check out this place for yourself and you be the judge. I stopped in to buy a phone case from them, they had to order it for me, told me when to come back, put my phone in the new case for me, and even replaced my cracked screen protector that came with the new phone case, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. The young lady that I dealt with was extremely polite and very professional. I strongly recommend that anybody needing any kind of repair to take your phone in and see for yourself just how good this place is. And, please ignore the whiner reviews.
