I'd just like to write a short note of sincere thanks for the help I received on Wednesday afternoon (19th Nov 25) , when I visited the shop seeking a washer to seal a leak that had developed in a mixer valve. They managed to find the exact size that fitted - the only one they had in stock - and let me have it for 1 pound. Had I managed to find one in a diy store it would likely have been part of a pack of assorted sizes, and would almost certainly have cost considerably more. Sadly, shops like this have become all too rare now, so for us to have one here in New Malden is a blessing, and something we really must ensure we hang on to by giving it our support. It's local, independent and owned by people who care about the community, and providing good old-fashioned customer service and advice; an increasing rarity nowadays. I hope they will continue to thrive.

Rarely experienced such patient and helpful customer care. I had problems with my Dyson and after many failed attempts to find the right screwdrivers, the shop owner helped me repair it with a lot of patience and care. They offer a great selection of things you might not find everywhere else and at super reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking it out!

My elderly dad recently moved to the area and this shop has been a lifesaver for him!! Staff have been amazing: patient, friendly, and extremely helpful. Anytime they didn't have something he needed they ordered it for him. This is an incredible 'Aladdin's Cave' local asset and the service was brilliant every time.

they have absolutely everything I needed, i kept asking for little things that the bigger stores like B&Q didn't have and they'd go off and find them, amazing. Even more amazing are the prices, you'd expect little shops like this to be extortionate, but no, cheap as chips, the way it should be. I love this shop, it reminds me of grandfathers garage, a throwback to better times. Customer service is second to none, tell them what you need or the problem you have and I'm sure they'll be able to fix it or solve it.
