Customer experiences
Old, smelled like an ashtray, needs updating, but affordable. Sandy, desk clerk, was amazing and accommodating. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Take a tart warmer or candle. And old slippers. Floors in room atr bad. Beds were comfy. Clean sheets. Overall you get what you pay for!
If I could give this a negative rating, I would!!! I would never stay at this hotel again if my life depended on it. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life!!! First off there was a company minor hanging around in the lobby there were people hanging out all over the property. It felt like I was in a bad neighborhood and there was a lot of nefarious activity going on. I ended up booking two rooms for my company. My room literally had black mold all over the bathroom wall walls, and I was told by the front desk attendant that the mold was not mold and that it was mitigated with a spray until they get it taken care of. The bathroom floor was very sticky and the tub looked like it was never cleaned or the floor to me. It actually looked like the whole bathroom was not cleaned. The wall outside of my bathroom in the room had either fecal matter or blood all over it. There was areas of the room that were so disgusting. I can’t even tell you what it was. The whole room was just disgusting. There was blood or something all over the curtains. The bedspreads were disgusting. The bedding period was disgusting. There were stains all over the bed. The floors in the room with the carpet felt like I was walking on the grossest carpet ever it was so bad that I had to make sure I was wearing shoes the whole time. There were metal bars sticking out from my bed, and when I got out of the bed, I cut my leg on the metal bars. There was no lock on my first floor window to which the front desk clerk told me sorry about that. She has to get me a wooden stick so that I could lock the window. The door to my room I felt was very unsafe it felt like someone could just get into my room. I had a young girl asked me if she could come hang out in my room. She couldn’t have been more than 13 years old. The TV remote was missing the back of the remote completely and the the TV remote was very sticky. It also felt like something was crawling on you in the room. I don’t know what it is maybe fleas or something, but it made you itch. All of the furniture in the room had some kind of something on it like it had never been cleaned. The microwave was disgusting. The refrigerator smelled horrible. I was in room 110. The guys that work for my company that were in room. 215 said their room look like a crime had been committed in there. There was blood everywhere all over the bed all over the mattress all over the walls. They also had the same experience I did with their room pretty much to a T. The front desk attendant move them to the third floor in another room that was smoking when they were put in non-smoking room in the beginning. The room was even worse, but they had no choice but to take that room. The continental breakfast area was horrendous. The area that they had the food store did not look good and again there were people sitting at the tables with their animals in the morning when I came down their animals were on top of the tables where people eat and put their food. When I checked out of the hotel and address this with the front desk clerk, she told me she was going to refund us the money and she apologized. I never even had to ask for a refund yet she just did it because I believed they know how bad this place is. If I could’ve left right then and there and went and found another hotel I would have, but everything else was booked up. We stayed here for one night and we would never go back here again ever. In closing this hotel needs a total remodel from top to bottom new owners new management new everything. In closing in my opinion, this hotel should be shut down or condemned!
Room smells like urine even the bed smells like urine crazy. Never i will stay here. Not recommending to anyone whatsoever. Even the manager is lazy, hopeless and asking high rate but the room sucks. If it was my property I would hire no manager who is lazy to keep up the rooms clean even linens are not sanitized..hopeless ..
Sandy was the absolute best front desk person I've ever encountered. She was warm and welcoming and happy to do whatever she could to help our stay be the best possible experience. We arrived early - no problem, the room was already prepared! We asked for extra towels - no problem, she brought them in less than two minutes! The absolute only complaint I had is an ownership issue: the carpets were stained, and I thought Wyndham would have recognized they need replacing. But Sandy made us comfortable, including - and this was just so phenomenal! - getting our TV working when she showed us (EARLY) the room. Set the AC and made sure the TV was back to its hotel settings (versus possible previous guest streaming). Beds were great, pillows were great; we travel frugally so had our own coffee maker and pods, but there was coffee in the lobby, and bagels, waffles, cereal, oatmeal... Really easy to like. And the property has the sweetest location with a sizeable creek that winds around the side and back... far enough away to not be scary, close enough to walk over to and watch water rush over rocks as it races down the mountain. Wyndham needs to fix the driveway and the carpets. Sandy was good for everything else! Thank you, Sandy!
