Stayed here for the Chincoteague pony swim & it was perfect. It was an easy, short drive over & nice to get off of the over crowded island for a break. A very few restaurant options nearby would not make it ideal for an extended stay but we did have an apartment sized fridge & full sized microwave in the room with Food Lion & Walmart nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, & recently renovated with more than enough room for 2 adults (double room). The entire hotel is still being renovated, but it did not affect our stay or sleep. AC worked well, the bathroom had adequate space for both of us getting ready at the same time, & the beds were VERY cozy. We would like to see more space to hang clothes, but there was a full sized ironing board & iron. Checking in & out was easy & the staff very friendly! The parking lot was clean, adequately lit, & felt safe. I have already booked another (solo) stay.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. First and most pressing problem. The room had rats or mice. I was staying there with my family for a beach trip from 6-21-25 to 6-22-25. Activity/ chewing all night long. Nobody got any sleep. Flies galore. Which I understand, it's summer but a nuisance nonetheless. The shower was less than clean. The towels were not very clean nor did they smell good. Owner notified, denied that they even had a problem and it was something housekeeping needed to take care of. Which, is a pest management problem not housekeeping. Parking lot littered with trash. Owner said he couldn't do anything about it because it was booked through booking.com. I had contacted booking as instructed. Still no resolution to the problem.

For a motel, it wasn't bad. No roaches or rodents. The AC worked. Refrigerator and microwave. The towel rack fell, and our towels were on the floor. They brought us clean towels right away. I was a little uncomfortable because it looked like some people were living there. But we had no problems at all.

We have been staying here for awhile all the rooms are newly renovated here so everything is super nice they definitely didn’t skimp on the beds because they are so comfortable the rooms are quite large and they have two options of two queen beds or large king beds. The renovations are quite nice and modern with new dark head boards built onto the wall with nice bright lighting and plugs near the bedside lights with regular plugs a usb plug and a C type plug right there for use. Staff is beyond friendly and great service so if you need a place to stay for your trip up to Ocean City just 30 or so miles down the highway stop in and ask for Nick
