Days Inn by Wyndham Louisville Airport Fair and Expo Center

Last time I stayed at this motel, they had it all torn apart for remodeling. I expected a much improved stay this time. Not so much. |Pros: Convenient to the Western KY Parkway|Close to several choices of eateries and fuel stations. |Nice staff. |Good breakfast.|Cons: Only transparent curtains covering the windows. The blackout curtains were too short to close. Room had no privacy, and was too lit up from the street lights to be dark enough to sleep.|The sink and toilet were cracked and glued together.|The carpet was loose and presented a trip hazard.|The entrance tiles had chunks missing where you have to walk.|Pool closed.

Please make sure you check amenities before you make a reservation. Found out at check in that the pool has been closed and won't open until 2026. If this was disclosed, we wouldn't have reserved the room. *UPDATE* I received a review update and mentioned that it's on the site, but it needs to be clearer. When I was checking in, the family in front of me didn't know as well. So it needs to be clearer.

People in my family were turned away when they were told multiple times via a woman at the front desk today a little after 7 PM that they would be charged for their service animal staying with them. That is absolutely not legal in the state of Kentucky, and this complaint will be formally escalated. If I could get them zero stars for this, I would.
