Experienced the taste of Persia differently, familiar dishes, with a Michelin touch. Delicious, infused with aesthetic to please the eyes. We did not have reservation, and was kindly accommodated for a table. When we entered, it seemed quiet but within 30 min, got super nice busy. Service is perfect…and the food is very tasty. Noticed, bar also got busy, basically people were pouring in, and it made me feel happy, as I love to see Persian Restaurants busy! The crowd were diverse, and clearly the food is bringing everybody from any background together at the tables. If you have tried Persian food already, or you would want to give it a try..Delara is the place..

I’ve heard so much about Delara and finally got to try it. It truly feels like dining in heaven. The menu is creative and artistic, with bold ideas and elegant Persian fusion done right. The staff are wonderful, not just friendly but genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience warm and special. The bread and seasonal dips were great starters, and the Fesenjoon with duck breast I tried was superb rich, well-balanced, with perfect textures. Everything was super tasty, the vibe was lovely, and all elements felt just right. Delara is a gem I’d go back to again and again.

An authentic middle eastern ambience with a splash of modern feel. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Food is fantastic! The braised lamb shoulder sandwich was very tender, well seasoned and delicious. Also tried the braised beef Gheymeh, which was complimented with lentils and crispy potatoes. Super tasty. Grilled sourdough bread with seasonal dips is a must try. Could not resist trying the baklava. So fresh and delicious. The saffron icecream with pistachio cookie is now one of my favorites. Well done Delara restaurant. Please keep up the amazing work and delicious culinary skills you’ve been doing. Special shout out to our server, did not catch her name but she was the only one serving and doing almost everything. She never stopped. What an amazing person and outstanding service. Will definitely return and recommend.

Delara offers creative twists on Persian dishes, and I had a great experience dining there. We tried the kofte, which was my favorite, it was incredibly delicious. We also ordered the lamb shank, which was amazing and full of flavor. For drinks, they have beautifully named and visually impressive cocktails, though the ones we tried weren’t exactly to my taste. Still, they were fun to try. The interior design is stylish and elegant, creating a lovely atmosphere. While the food has a modern take and differs from traditional Persian recipes, everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. This place is definitely a highlight in Vancouver, and I’d love to bring visitors here for their first experience.
