Great food , great drinks and great atmosphere! The first half was lovely the staff was filling up our drinks and being sweet and very accommodating. But unfortunately towards the end of the meal a table of 10 walked in and the staff forgot about us, literally. There was about 8 staff on duty and four of them was around the table of 10 and the others 4 was waiting over tables. I had to ask for our dessert to be brought over as simply the staff forgot , which was very frustrating. And to top it of. We again had to ask for the bill as we was forgotten. While trying to call a staff over which took a long time as all the staff just seemed unable to want to help. My partner literally calmly asked a staff for the bill and she looked him in the eyes, for him to turn his back on her and walk away as if he did not hear her. We had to calm ours nerve a lot because of this which put a little bit of dampener on the day. And again we had to ask two staff to get our check. So yes great food but awful service for 1/2 of the time. Considering this was a fairly empty restaurant and a fancy one if that. It was unfortunate that had to be my takeaway.
Tried Nusr-Et's lunch menu. The staff is very friendly and we were well looked after. The ambience is, as you'd expect, very elegant. For our starters, we had the Salmon Tartare (3/5), Striploin Sushi (5/5), and the Padron Peppers (5/5).. the peppers were off the main menu. For our mains, we had the Beef Filet (5/5) and the Striploin (2/5). The latter letting us down, but the Filet was exquisite! For the desserts, we went for the Baklava (1/5).. Overall, the lunch menu is very good value for money for folks wanting to try Nusr-Et out, and portions are generous. However, we did leave there with our taste buds not fully satisfied. That said, would I revisit again, yes, for the Beef Filet & the Striploin Sushi.
Stopped by Nusr-Et while in London and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The steak was on point — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just how I like it. The vibe was cool, classy, but still relaxed. Big shoutout to Othman for the warm welcome and top-tier service. Really made the whole experience feel special. If you’re in London — especially my Kuwaiti brothers and sisters — definitely swing by. You’ll love it.
