Completely wheelchair accessible Costa with an exceptionally high standard of hygiene and a casual, calm atmosphere. Costa is a chain so you come to expect a certain standard but this one sits way above the usual standard for this chain. It's always immaculately clean and calm and well managed. The environment is calm, even romantic and the music is set at a reasonable level.

Staff are super rushed even though there was hardly anyone queuing. Wanted to buy four drinks and a teacake, could only order three before the guy rang it up on the till. One drink was a tea and we had to ask for the teacup. Didn't bother trying to go back to order the fourth drink. Staff need to be more chill, it's alienating to be treated like you're wasting their time/in the way.

We went on Sunday the 16th Feb. The staff was quick, polite and incredibly competent. We were especially impressed by the young man taking our orders. He was very busy but still greeted my partner with 'good day Sir how can we help today'. Very good teamwork.

This is clearly the best Costa we have been in (and we have been in a few!). So super efficient. Kind to elderly customers. The place is always spotless and the staff work well together. I think the Manager has bleached blond hair and he is testament to how well this Costa is run - they should win an award.
