Zero starts. Extremely Disappointing Experience. I had a truly awful experience with this dentist. I went in for a cleaning because I had a rough spot on my tooth, but instead of listening to my concerns, he dismissed what I was feeling. He offered to aggressively drill my tooth to "smooth it out," which turned out to be a terrible decision. The drilling was harsh, and not only did it not address the issue, but it made things worse. Now, my upper teeth are sensitive, and the original problem remains unresolved. To make matters worse, I was charged $312 for a cleaning and maybe one minute of drilling that did absolutely nothing to help. I also found out I was being charged for services I didn’t expect, this was alarming especially since I have no coverage. When the receptionist asked if the fee could be reduced due to my situation, the dentist refused. He mentioned that he would have reduced the charge if I’d opted to remove and refill my filling instead, but a little transparency beforehand would have been appreciated. It's clear that Dr. Clarke is more interested in making money than providing quality patient care. I would strongly advise against seeing this dentist.
