Just had an automatic gearbox service for my bmw 1 series. The guys did an amazing job on my car, the shifting now it’s smooth as new, I couldn’t believe how my gearbox was working after they taken care of it. Also the guys did a full inspection of my vehicle in the same price without any extra cost. Very happy and definitely I will be using it again!!

Excellent service, from start to finish. A rapid response to my initial enquiry via email, with a clear breakdown of the costs. My Car was booked in and the option of a courtesy car was fantastic, as I am not local to the Chelmsford area. Having used Main Dealers in the past with mixed outcomes, these guys are streets ahead. They are professional, experienced and provide an outstanding level of service. I came away knowing the job had been completed correctly, using genuine BMW parts and the car thoroughly inspected, without the usual 'up-selling' tactics. I will be returning in the future, as they always meet my expectations. Well done to the whole team at Dukes Park Automotive Ltd.

I booked my car in for brake discs and pads after being quoted £243 + VAT over the phone. When I collected the car, I was charged £380, which was very disappointing. I had multiple quotes from reputable garages in Chelmsford, all lower than this price, and even one garage said their own supplier costs were close to £400 and considered that too expensive. I was also quoted £230 by a garage in Ipswich, but it was too far for me. Reception did not acknowledge giving an incorrect quote and offered no apology. Had I known the real price, I would not have chosen this garage. The parts used were aftermarket, not OEM. The work itself seems fine, but due to the pricing issue, I can only give 3 stars. I had a much better experience here about two years ago. Ref to the response: Thank you for your explanation. However, you should provide the parts you originally quoted for. Instead, you used OEM parts and charged me without prior notification. You may check your phone call records to confirm what you originally quoted me.

Took in my 2012 Mini which, with over 90k miles on the clock, now needed quite a bit of work done on it. I was very impressed by the care taken in thoroughly checking the car over on the initial visit and the detail provided with the quote; including what was critical to do now, what extras might need to be done as the main work progressed and what could wait. I have just picked it up and it's no exaggeration to say that it feels like a new car! I also have been advised on what else might need to be done, and when, to ensure that I continue to get many miles out of the car. Huge thanks to Antony, India and Alex at Dukes Park!
