I had my makeup done for my wedding by Holly, the owner of Durham Beauty Lounge, and she was absolutely fantastic! From the moment she arrived (right on time!), she was warm, professional, and so talented. Not only did I love my bridal look, but my entire bridal party was also so impressed with how flawless and beautiful their makeup turned out. Holly made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable — exactly what every bride hopes for on her big day! I was so happy with the results that I’ve already booked her again for my maternity shoot. Highly recommend Holly for any special occasion makeup — she’s amazing!

We haven’t even gotten to my wedding day yet but from the start working with Holly has felt like working with a best friend (in the most professional way possible)! She’s informative and so easy to talk to! She has answered any and all questions I have leading up to my wedding including good skin prep routines, how to fix my dry spots, what products to get my bridesmaids and anything in between! She’s a girls girl which is exactly the energy I’ve been needing! As for her actual service, I left her studio feeling like the most gorgeous woman in the world. I used to see videos of beautiful brides on social media and never thought I would look like that until I left hollys chair! You seriously have to book with her! 🫶🏼🤩 (ps. The funky eyebrow was from hot wax, nothing to do with Holly!)

I love everything about Durham Beauty Lounge. Holly is super sweet. It felt like having a friend over as she was so easy to talk to and genuine, even my dog loved her. She did my makeup for a maternity photoshoot and I loved it. The photos turned out amazing and the makeup lasted all day. I would 100% recommend her for any occasion. I'm going to book a makeup up tutorial session with her as well. She listens to what you want and makes sure you're happy.

She uses the best makeup products and did a thorough consultation and we looked at pictures to make sure we understood the vibe I was going for.
