I've worked with Bear at Body Renovation for more than 10 years, and he has been absolutely fantastic. His dedication, expertise, and ability to motivate have been instrumental in my fitness journey. And he always has the perfect exercise or stretch for aches and pains. Highly recommend!
I've trained with Bear and a mix of trainers that work with him for over four years now. He and his staff put together excellent workouts that push me (but not too much) and have improved my fitness, flexibility, and general health. He has also always been flexible on scheduling to help me get workouts in when conflicts arise. He and his staff were also quick to adapt to the changing pandemic restrictions supporting workouts in parks and remotely as necessary. I would wholeheartedly recommend training with Bear.
Bear is an awesome trainer and fun to work with (like, I genuinely look forward to working out with him). He knows what he's doing and tailors workouts to suit your needs and abilities. It's expensive, but I think well-priced for getting a personalized workout.
I worked out at Body Renovations with Bear and a couple other trainers, and they were all fantastic. They have a great environment, plenty of excellent equipment, and everyone is very knowledgeable about the human body. I'm not a person with much background in sports, working out, or training myself physically. Working with Bear and the other trainers, I've gained a better understanding of nutrition and how to work out properly. The first time I came in, Bear gave me a free consultation workout session with him. We talked about what I was trying to achieve. To be honest, I didn't have *exact* goals because I just wanted to get healthier and lose some weight. Bear had some helpful suggestions on what we could improve my health and weight and what some good goals would be short-term and long-term. We took measurements, and we went through a pretty tough (for me, at the time) workout. I started doing workouts with them twice a week. They made a custom meal plan for me and every session we would change things up. The workouts were a mixture of exercises with the equipment and things that I could do at home. I highly recommend this place.
