Bought a car. Me and friend visually inspected it, should have taken it to a shop first. Was told ran great and their mechanic looked it over. Transmission was leaking and needed a new one after 3 weeks of buying it. Make sure you inspect your vehicle.

After traveling over the mountain looking for a car for my daughter for three full days in the Vancouver area and finding NOTHING reliable in her $9000ish budget that wasn’t beat to hell or waaay over 200k miles, we were feeling very (VERY) frustrated. We extended our car shopping trip for one more day and went to Eastport Motors first thing in the morning. In all honesty, she could’ve purchased any car there and been very happy. The lot is smaller and unassuming at first glance, but don’t let first quick impressions deter you from stopping!! The selection was all within her budget (give or take just a couple thousand dollars) and every vehicle there was presented meticulously. He treated both of us with respect and commended my daughter for researching car brands and sticking to her requirements. It was a very stress-free experience buying her car there…..if only we had gone there on day one of our search!!!
