We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding work done by Granite Construction on my new home. The architect's vision truly brought my dream to life, featuring four beautifully designed ensuite bedrooms, a spacious hall, a stylish dining area seamlessly connected to the open kitchen, and a practical study room. The attention to detail is evident throughout the house, from the large windows that allow natural light to the stunning high wood doors. The modern kitchen, complete with a top-quality countertop, has become the heart of our home. The underfloor heating adds a touch of luxury, while the solar panels and fully laid turf demonstrate a commitment to sustainability. Working with Granite Construction has been an absolute pleasure. Their friendly and professional team ensured a quick turnaround from the initial stages to the final touches, making the settling-in process smooth and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Granite Construction.

So in June we had a rather tired and leaky conservatory on the back of our house and by the end of November we have a very smart new extension, including a study, lounge, gym and revamped bathroom. We’ve had so many compliments on our new rooms and the quality of the build that it is reassuring that it is not just ourselves that are pleased with the work but that other people can see that a good job has been done. To get here Granite have had to dig down 2.5 metres by hand; find a missing sewer; fit huge steel beams; deal with a very shallow sloping roof; fit a sun tube; build a huge wooden bench and address many more interesting and challenging obstacles. Everything has been approached with good humour and a ‘Can do’ attitude. Our project manager was Mark and he deserves a special mention. He has been a delight to work with and I’m completely amazed at how he manages to juggle all the things that need to be done with all the people who need to do them and keep to the schedule for not just our build but for all the others he’s managing. At no time did we feel that our build was less important than any of the others and in fact benefitted from the size of the team spread over several builds, for example when our big steel beams were delivered, extra people were called in to help. One of the most valued and least obvious things that Granite did was their consideration for us as we were still living in the house whilst the work was going on. This ranged from little things, like asking permission to do something through to building a temporary partition to separate the building work from the rest of the house. Throughout the build, Mark (and the team), have been very patient with me asking questions about things or for explanations about the process. Not being involved in the building trade, this has resulted in some interesting conversations where I’m trying to describe something by what it looks like (usually resulting in me pointing at the thing in question or taking a photo of it) much to the hilarity of everyone involved. But every time the Granite Guys have answered my questions in a way I can understand and explained what the thing is, what it does, why it’s important and describing any different options if appropriate. We have been very impressed with the work ethic and skills of the guys in the Granite tops. They turn up on time and work long days. There’s no slacking off and they leave everything tidy at the end of the day. They are always friendly and polite but don’t just stand around and chat. They work very hard. Their main goal seems to be to ensure that the customer gets what they want and if that is not possible, come up with good alternatives. Even our neighbours have commented on how friendly and polite they are. So now here are the key questions. Would I use Granite again? Absolutely, in fact there are a couple of further projects we’re planning in the next couple of years that I plan to talk to them about. Would I recommend Granite to other people? Definitely and have already done so. In my opinion they have done an excellent job and obviously they themselves have enough pride and confidence in what they do that they feel proud enough to post it on social media. In conclusion I would just like to say a huge thank you to Granite for making our home beautiful.

Granite Construction have built a beautiful home, we couldnt be more thrilled with the result. Steve and the whole team have been absoultely fantastic with any questions or queries we have had about the inbuilt utilities and made the whole experience so pleasant for us. I cant recommend them enough!
