This place is one of a kind!! A true hidden gem 💎 The food is excellent! Took my son here for his birthday 🎂 Traveling from Long Island to Brooklyn (Dumbo to be exact) on a weeknight for a 7:30 reservation was not an easy task. I called the restaurant to let them know we’d be running late. Spoke to Kay and she put my anxiety to rest by changing our reservation to 8pm. As we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a very nice lady who turned out to be Kay. She also ended up being our server. She was so attentive, answered all our questions regarding the menu, made some amazing suggestions. Her easy going ways put us in such a good vibe. She was absolutely delightful. We will definitely be back to have your amazing culinary deliciousness! Thank you again Kay!!!
Dumbo LOVES Elephant District! This place is adorable, with friendly hardworking staff, lovely cocktails, and delicious dishes. It's also pretty romantic at night, under the bridge. When we got in for dinner, it was early, but reservations should definitely happen because people who tried walking in were waiting for a long time to be seated when we got up to leave. Get a reservation or come early. Each dish is so tasty! Genuinely, I'm not certain you could go wrong with any of their dishes because every one we had was delicious, presented well, and fun. Overall, this is a lovely restaurant with a fun vibe, a cute bar, a larger dining area inside, and outdoor seating. Hopefully, these pictures do justice to the dishes and restaurant. The vibe is happy and casual. My favorite part by Far was the adorable elephant drinks. So CUTE! 10/10!
Our visit to Elephant District was a highlight of our trip to NYC! The staff were so kind and friendly, and the food was wonderful. It is located in a great spot in Dumbo as well. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai and a Thai tea, and both were amazing. We also enjoyed a homemade mango dessert, which was absolutely delicious! Overall, I would recommend Elephant District to anyone looking for some good Thai food in Brooklyn.
Tucked right under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, Elephant District is a hidden gem that instantly transports you to the vibrant streets of Bangkok. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm, thoughtfully designed space filled with elephant-themed art and an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. I brought my team here for dinner, and it was an excellent choice. We started with the spring rolls and chive pancake—both executed perfectly, with fresh ingredients and bold, authentic flavors. The Thai iced tea was especially noteworthy: rich, creamy, and remarkably true to what you’d find on the banks of the Chaopraya. All their fried rice and the classic Thai dishes are well presented and authentic. Our server, Kay, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and full of great recommendations that really enhanced our experience. The cocktail menu is impressive as well, with a range of beautifully presented drinks that balance creativity and classic Thai flavors. Elephant District delivers not only in taste but also in experience. Highly recommend for team dinners, casual evenings out, or anyone looking for exceptional Thai cuisine in a unique and stylish setting.
