Book her ASAP!!! Amanda and her team at Eleven Ten Events were nothing short of amazing. I booked her in the middle of my wedding planning with the Month of Coordination (Deluxe) package since I already had most of my vendors picked out and really just needed guidance with the details and logistics of the day. The meetings I had during the months of planning with Amanda were always a delight- she was great to bounce ideas off of and help guide me in the right direction when I had no idea what I was doing! Where she REALLY came through was the wedding weekend. Amanda made herself available last minute to attend our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding to make sure we had our ducks in a row and let me tell you- it is not easy to wrangle our friends and family- but she handled it so well all the while being super friendly and patient. She truly saved the day more than once over the weekend - the night before the wedding we found out there was some miscommunication with the vendors and that no bar was rented for the bartenders to make drinks on. Without missing a beat, Amanda handled it and made sure there was a bar on site in less than 24 hours. The entire day of the wedding was a dream because I was not worried about a thing since Amanda and Lauren were on site and on top of everything. Chad and I loved that she made it a point to make sure we enjoyed every part of our wedding - from the cocktail hour apps and our signature drinks that she brought to us during our couple photos - to even lacing up Chad's sneakers for reception dancing that we forgot to do in the midst of all the craziness - Amanda & Lauren were on it!! She even made sure we took photos in our photo booth - something I completely would have forgotten about doing with the night flying by. I could go on and on but I will leave it there and say if you haven't booked Amanda yet- just do it! :)
Overall, Amanda and her team were very helpful day of, but I couldn't help but feel that she was not as helpful for the month leading up to the wedding. The day-of help and setup was absolutely amazing. Amanda and team handled the setup (in the rain!) and tear down of our wedding seamlessly and executed my vision and decor exactly how I wanted it. They kept the day running smoothly, communicated with vendors well, and were quick to assist when needed. My only complaint/concern is that it felt like I did a lot of the heavy lifting in the month leading up to the wedding. For full transparency, we booked month of coordination and not full planning, since I am an event planner myself. I expected a bit more organization and communication in the month leading up to the wedding. For example, we had a long timeline meeting that she seemed to be taking notes on and then misplaced the entire timeline we had talked through a few days later (and had to re-create). There were also other things that made it feel like I had to piece a lot of things together myself and with month-of coordination I just expected a bit more. Now, if I had booked day-of coordination that would be totally different. My advice is book if you want someone who is kind, efficient on wedding day, and creative! Just perhaps communicate about expectations beforehand if not booking full planning.
As a fellow wedding vendor, I had the joy of working alongside Amanda and her team at a wedding this March and they were nothing short of incredible. Leading up to the day, they were organized, communicative, and collaborative with the timeline and details. On the wedding day itself, Amanda and her team were a true dream to work with- welcoming, kind, and beyond helpful from the moment I arrived. They created such a stunning space with an incredible eye for detail (something photographers deeply appreciate!) and supported the bride every step of the way. Even when the timeline slipped a little, Amanda brought such a calm and steady presence that kept the day running beautifully. Her professionalism, care, and talent shine through in everything she does. I would recommend her to any bride looking for a planner who truly goes above and beyond, and I cannot wait for the chance to work with her and her team again in the future!
Amanda and her team did an exceptional job for us; my sister and I had a double wedding and she far exceeded our expectations. Her attention to detail, problem-solving skills and overall kindness and flexibility were a crucial part of making our special day PERFECT. We are forever thankful to her and would 1000% recommend Eleven Ten to all brides, even perfectionist type A ones like myself (: trust me, she's GOT YOU!
