At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, I feel absolutely compelled to share my positive experience with Elite DNA—and more specifically, with Shannon Dolinger. For over 20 years, I saw the same doctor—a referral from my father’s ex-wife. Out of habit and comfort, especially when dealing with something as sensitive as anxiety (which can make one prone to depression), I simply trusted the process and stayed with that provider. Over time, however, the situation deteriorated. Without delving into too much detail, the care I received was not only unprofessional—it was unlawful. There was no real quality of care, and unfortunately, this had a deeply detrimental impact on my life during an already difficult time. As someone who is usually positive and productive, that made the experience all the more traumatic. Despite the emotional toll, I was hesitant to seek help elsewhere. Like many, I’m a creature of comfort, and starting over with a new facility felt daunting. But I finally reached a point where I knew I had to make a change. That’s when I had a telehealth appointment with Shannon Dolinger. From the moment we spoke, she was incredibly understanding and made me feel immediately at ease. It was as if she truly *heard* me—she picked up on everything I was trying to express. She’s not only brilliant, but also compassionate. Shannon helped adjust my antidepressant dosage appropriately, which has already made a difference. She also identified and confirmed a long-standing issue with a medication that had been improperly prescribed by my previous doctor. That validation alone was a turning point for me. For so long, I had felt something was wrong with me—like a dark cloud was hanging over me. I even felt guilty by association for continuing with that previous provider and their careless, sleazy level of care. This is coming from someone who, when first diagnosed with ADHD, joined an online support group because I was apprehensive about taking necessary medications. I’ve always approached mental health with thoughtfulness and caution, which made my prior experience all the more disheartening. I can’t thank Shannon Dolinger enough for her empathy, insight, expertise, and for simply making me feel safe and understood. I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing care with her and the rest of the Elite DNA team.

The staff here have been so professional and helpful! Ledsey is always super nice when answering scheduling questions and helping me with appointments. Sam has also been supportive and helpful during very rough times. I would recommend DNA Health for anyone seeking therapy.
