Valerie was my hair stylist for my May 2025 wedding. She did such a great job with my hair. I’ve never received so many compliments. My hair stayed put through all the wedding dancing, swearing, and maneuvering. I got married on an especially windy day in Chicago and it lasted throughout. Beyond the hair being amazing, she was patient, kind, and helpful through all steps of the process. She helped me decide on a hair style and that I didn’t need extensions. Her kind demeanor made me feel at ease through all the wedding craziness. She took my inspiration picture and absolutely delivered! Cannot recommend Valerie enough for all hair styling needs.

I went to Salon DJ for highlights and a haircut with Lorenzo, and I’m so happy with the results! I absolutely love my color and cut. The salon itself is super clean and chic, and the staff were very welcoming, they even offered me a drink as soon as I arrived! I just moved here and was nervous about finding a new stylist since I don’t normally trust people with my hair, but Lorenzo exceeded my expectations. Definitely found my new spot and will be sending friends here too!😊

My first time at this salon, OMG! it is stunning, it has that New York City chic feel. I received a call by one of there apprentice stylist who was looking for a model to apply full color. OMG! what and amazing job, she did on my hair color (I apologize my stylist name escapes me) Jim was overseeing her and teaching and watching her applying my color and showing her new techniques. If you are looking for a great hair color of hair cut and want to save some money I highly recommend you check out this salon. Irish!
