I found Lydia through a quick Google search for “loc extensions near me.” At first, I was a bit skeptical—communication was intermittent, and I began to worry. However, I was offered a free 15-minute consultation, which put my mind at ease. I visited the salon, and we agreed on a date and time for my appointment. From my experience, this salon is quite busy, mostly due to a high number of walk-ins. My advice: book an appointment ahead of time to secure an allocated slot and avoid long waits. Now to the best part—my hair looks beautiful! They clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to locs. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. The only downside I experienced was the occasional disruption during my appointment. Since there’s no dedicated receptionist and walk-ins are frequent, the stylist had to step away multiple times without notice, which could feel a little abrupt. It didn’t bother me much, but it’s something that could be improved to enhance the client experience. All in all, great service and amazing results. I’ll be back!

My experience was wonderful! I admit I was a little nervous after reading the mixed reviews. I found myself in desperate need of some self-care and it showed! Luckily, I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Lydia was very professional the minute I walked in and greeted me warmly. I had booked a deep condition and silk press because my hair was very dry and breaking. I only knew a deep condition would help and a trim. I was not very interested in the silk press part. We had a short consult about my hair needs and Lydia recommended a vege keratin treatment instead. This service was actually CHEAPER than what I had come in to do. It is rare to find a stylist who will put your hair goals over making more money. To start, Lydia used some of her hair refresher on my hair. It's a miracle! Immediately my hair was soft and easy to detangle. The rest of the process was a dream. Lydia was considerate and knowledgeable through the whole process. She kept checking in with me to make sure I'm okay and happy with the progress. She also advised me how to care for my hair at home. I will definitely be back to see her every 3 months for my hair care. I'm thrilled with the result and feel so much better.

Worst experience ever. Went there for simple curls on my fro and that what i got for 120$, thye didnt even try.plus this was my second experience last time i went there for a crochet retwist, charged me almost 300 for the worst retwist. Is it just me or
