Visiting the Parliament Buildings of British Columbia was an incredible experience. I joined one of the guided tours, and it was both engaging and highly informative. The Legislative Assembly in Victoria is not just a historical building — it’s a complete experience. The architecture is absolutely stunning and makes for a very photogenic spot. Whether you're taking pictures from the lawn outside or walking around the building, every angle is picture-perfect. The lush green surroundings and the harbor backdrop just add to its beauty. Inside, we were pleasantly surprised to find activities for children too. There were interactive displays and learning corners that helped kids understand how the government works in a fun, engaging way. It was both educational and enjoyable for the whole family. The souvenir shop inside the building was another highlight. It had an amazing collection of locally made items, from elegant gifts to fun memorabilia. Everything felt carefully selected — not the usual touristy stuff. We ended up picking a few unique keepsakes to remember the visit. Overall, the Legislative Assembly is more than just a government building — it's a place where history, beauty, and learning come together. Definitely worth a visit for families, history lovers, and anyone who enjoys exploring iconic spots in Victoria.
