Update: Chantal was very prompt in sending a kind reply while offering to rectify the situation. This gesture is greatly appreciated. Thank you again Chantal, I look forward to my next visit to Excelsior. I’ve visited twice and had a great experience for the massages received. My insurance provider was under maintenance on my first visit, so payment for the service was processed by the card I had on file & I submitted my claim when they came back online. Easy! On the second visit however I mentioned the direct billing and provided my insurance information and after a few moments I was told it wouldn’t be able to be processed from their end and I would need to submit. Fine, like last time no problem. When asked about payment, I was going to say to use the card on file but before I could get the words out I was presented a card reader with a tip prompt. I thought about the difference in process, but completed the payment. On the way home I submitted the claim as I had the first time upon receiving the receipt, however I later realized that the service had in fact been submitted directly at the clinic, so I now have two active claims for the same service which I will have to clear up with my insurance provider. I will likely book again in the future as I do not want to pass judgement after only two visits, but on my next visit I will likely inquire about a standardized process for payment and insurance billing options.

Wonderful place. Chantal is excellent and so knowledgeable! She is very friendly and approachable and as a new-comer to message therapy myself she has been great in making me feel comfortable throughout the process. Really takes the time to listen to her patients and is a complete package as a therapist! I have been a returning customer for some time now don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
