We had Fail Safe help with our office remodel. They installed can lighting, a fan, additional outlets, and under cabinet lighting for us. The guys did an awesome job with everything! They were on time, courteous, and cleaned up after. We highly recommend Fail Safe for your electrical needs! Thank you Louis, Pete, Benny, and Anthony!
I scheduled a visit from this company to get a quote for generator installation to replace an old generator. After waiting for 3 hours for the tech to arrive I got a message saying that he would be late (at least another hour). I had to run some errands, so I explained where the existing generator was to the office contact and told her that there was no need for the tech to talk to us because none of the work required inside access. The tech came when we were out (I caught him on our surveillance cameras) and inspected the location of the old generator, then left. Two days went by and there was no follow up (no contact at all) from the office about my quote. Over the next week I asked three more times and got no response. The word "Fail" in their name is appropriate - THEY FAIL TO MEET EVEN MINIMAL STANDARDS FOR RESPONSIVENESS.
Fail Safe sent out Albert and Peter, they did a great job. Both were personable, polite, professional, and thorough. They explained the job really well to me, and listen to me about what I wanted. They also took appropriate steps for Covid safety. Cost: I always feel that contractors charge a lot so I'm not going to say the price was low, but it was very competitive with other Electricians and Handymen that I had contacted. Most importantly, Louis at Fail Safe listened to my concerns and actually gave me a concrete estimate before setting foot in my house instead of the nonsense of charging a Service Fee to come out and then providing an estimate. I would say it was worth it, especially knowing that Albert and Peter wanted to give me peace of mind and took appropriate steps for it. Project Background: I have a vaulted ceiling and there is a fan at the peak of the ceiling that the previous owners of the house had installed. Because of the vaulted ceiling, the previous owners decided to make a fixture so that the fan would sit flush (see attached photo) and it looks great. The idiotic thing they did was attach the fan to the fixture and not the fan box, and the fixture was made of particleboard! So that particleboard was holding up this fan that we were sleeping under. Extremely dangerous and stupid, I'm surprised it didn't come crashing down. I noticed this when I tried to replace the fan. Fail Safe extended the electrical box down so it would sit in line with the "Fixture" so that the fan could be mounted directly to the box (like it's supposed to). They also made me a new fixture out of plywood so it still looks the same as before, but the weight of the fan is borne by the electrical box, and not the fixture.
