Fairy Godmother Events

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kadzo and the Fairy Godmother Events team. We opted for partial planning services over a year before our wedding date, and from start to finish, planning with Kadzo was a breeze. Hiring Fairy Godmother Events and Kadzo was the very first decision we made on our wedding planning journey and was by far the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding day and our marriage. For context, we had a multicultural and interfaith indoor/outdoor wedding in September 2025 with about 145 guests. During the planning stages, Kadzo was always patient and clear about our options, timelines, and the factors to consider with each vendor and decor decision. She kept us organized with a planning portal that included a shared checklist, reminders, a budgeting page, and other helpful tools. She helped us stay on budget (though my husband made that incredibly difficult!) and found creative ways to get the most out of what we were spending. We also wanted to prioritize small businesses where we could, and she always kept that in mind when making recommendations. Thanks to her guidance, we ended up with the most phenomenal vendor team. I was especially impressed by her ability to find hair and makeup artists who met my needs as a natural-hair (4C) bride who rarely wears makeup. When it came to day-of coordination, Kadzo was once again amazing. Just before our ceremony, it began to rain unexpectedly. She prioritized our wishes and gave us the space to decide whether to take the risk or switch to the rain plan. When the rain continued, everything transitioned smoothly to our indoor backup plan (despite having only 20 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin). Multiple guests even commented on how well-run the day was and how incredible Kadzo had been. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and everything felt effortless. Beyond her professionalism and planning expertise, Kadzo was simply a joy to have at the event. She beamed with happiness as we walked down the aisle and smiled at us from across the room. In those little moments, it truly felt like having another family member there. I would recommend Kadzo and her team to anyone planning a wedding or hosting an event. She is absolutely phenomenal!

Working with Kazdo West for Ida and Wes's wedding was such a wonderful experience! From the very beginning, her organization and attention to detail stood out, making the entire process incredibly smooth. On the wedding day, Kazdo was calm, collected, and handled everything with ease, which helped keep the entire team on track. What really impressed me was how open and welcoming she was to working with a new photographer. It was our first time collaborating, and she made the experience seamless, ensuring we had the time and space needed to capture every special moment. Her positive attitude and willingness to work together were so appreciated. I can’t recommend Kazdo enough! We use FGM events for our wedding this past August and I couldn’t have had a better experience with anyone else.
