Catherine HeldenfelsI also wanted to say in addition to my prior review that Rio (at least in the building Iive in) does NOT hire professional cleaners in between tenants moving in and out. They require the tenant to clean, like anywhere, but the responsibility of keeping the apartment clean falls solely on the prior tenants. Has anyone else seen something like that? I feel like it’s a standard to hire a professional team of cleaners for new tenants. I just wanted people to be aware that the reason they move into or see a dirty apartment is because Rio does not hire professional cleaners in between moves.
o kI have rented commercial spaces in 3 states over the last 25 years, and have never encountered a real estate management company as incompetent, viscerally unpleasant, and thoroughly hostile to their tenants. The fact that they remain in business is shocking. I cannot stress more highly that you should steer well clear of their offerings. You will regret leasing from them.
Melissa NoonanI have had a broken dishwasher since October 16. It is January 16. Four months. I have emailed every single week. Please I am begging you fix my dishwasher. This was the entire reason I chose this apartment. I do believe I should get some form of reimbursement for not having the utilities I was promised for 4 months. That is 1/3 of my entire lease.

Cheap prices reflect the cheap property and almost non-existent management. Filthy on move-in. Trash all over the property. Water and heat constantly broken. No key replacement , no reply from management, have to call your own locksmith. Terrible management, Lease agreement ignored on tenant portal and in writing, almost everything conducted in SHADY, non verifiable, verbal communication. Would not recommend to anybody.
