Came in to relax and enjoy the music and left with a lot of respect for the team here. Bartending is not an easy job, and the staff handled everything that came their way with calm, professionalism, and dignity. That kind of energy makes a big difference as a customer. Jess and Julien are great bartenders - show them respect! They are attentive and know how to talk with people. Great vibes, hard-working staff, and a place that feels welcoming. I highly recommend taking an evening at Poor Romeos.

This place has been the soundtrack to my questionable life choices for 8+ years, and I regret nothing (that I remember). The staff here are absolute legends. The food is delicious. The cocktails are numerous. The vibe makes you feel like you're one song away from doing something you'll have to apologize for tomorrow. Thanks for all the smash burgers, oysters, and blackbirds.

This place is the absolute best. I hosted a birthday party here for my partner and it was so wonderful. Great food, great drinks, cozy atmosphere, and I don't think I've been to a bar in Toronto with better staff than Poor Romeo.

I will start by saying that service was absolutely excellent but a bit rushed because the place was quite busy. The drinks were alright and the food was also alright. We sat out on the patio which was nice and not too noisy compared to indoors. Overall, nice place to catch up with friends but the food and cocktails won’t blow you away.
