Kyle WelteI have been a member for 3+ years using the lockers provided. I locked my items in the same locker the entire time. Ownership cut my lock off and left my belonging out without any notice. No sign, email, or announcement to members. Ownership told a trainer to let me know they would contact me in a couple weeks when in town. Love the trainers and location of the gym but management/ownership are terrible and I will be looking elsewhere and would recommend the same to others. Machines are broken, bathrooms/showers/towels are consistently under maintained an owners are out of town if anything is needed.
Denise SellersWhy don’t you guys stop screwing people over when they cancel their memberships?!!! You guys straight up lie to people, Saline in particular. A membership was cancelled in 2023 and you’ve been charging ever since. This is completely unprofessional and stealing. Beware, the manager straight up admits her employees don’t do what they are supposed to do. This is on a recorded line. I encourage people to go elsewhere. These little hole in the wall gyms will steal w no care. Please read other reviews. Seems to be a norm to steal extra months, in this case 2 years, from people. A lawsuit maybe?
Heather SiebertI love going to Reb3l groove classes! That's actually all I do at the gym is group classes that help motivate me and ensure I'm getting a good workout... Reb3l is so much better then Zumba and makes you feel sexy and more confident! I drive 30 mins to see my favorite instructors! Shannon, Janna and Kim are the best and I love how personalized and fun they make it! Strength is great for conditioning too and really makes you feel strong. Best part of my week are these classes! 🩵 The gym just got new ownership and seems to be undergoing a makeover so that's good!
Robert StrantzSo here is the deal... We have been in the local are our entire lives. We were moving from the Brighton area to a new home in Erie. Although we had a gym we frequented all the time, a few months back we were scouting new gyms closer to the new home. We came upon 1440 Fitness as a possibility. I have to say my first interaction was absolutely horrible. The staff at the front counter was not personable and didnt seem she wanted to be there, let alone work. She told me to "look around" and then went back to her phone. Once done, I went back and asked about classes and pricing and was advised to "hold please" as she was still on her phone. As a business owner, this person would not have been representing my company. *Redemption!! * We moved into the new home about three weeks ago and my daughter is an avid dancer and asked me to give this gym a second look. She liked the fact that it was so close to the house, the 24 hr access and the classes. We were also impressed with the assortment of equipment, free weights and cleanliness. Two days ago my daughter scheduled us a tour. Of course I was skeptical due to the last interaction but I decided to go. Upon arriving we were met by Maddy. Her and my daughter interacted quite well as they were close in age. She took the time to show us around the gym. She was very thourough in her explanation of the equipment, the amenities and even the classes. She had a sense of professionalism that she truly enjoyed her employement and being part of this gym community. Maddy actually took the time and talked with us for about 30 minutes on a personal and professional level. She explained all of the membership fees and options. We were so impressed by her representaion of the company that we signed up for 3 memberships and paid them all year in advance. Maddy is the type of personality and person that represented this comapny extremely well and is the same type of person any business owner would appreciate having on staff. Good job Maddy!! You renewed our faith in giving this gym a shot. I will update a review later as we get immersed into this gym community. Thanks guys!!
