Absolutely AMAZING service, full stop. JR is the absolute best service advisor you could ever have on your side. He consistently kept me up to date when I lost the transmission in my 2024 3500. This is the third time Iāve had to leave my truck at the shop and he is the first person to ever answer my questions and phone calls without making me seem like the bad guy for calling. If you want the absolute best service possible. I highly recommend coming here and DEMANDING JR to be your service advisor. The frosting on the cake is since Iām from Texas I had to fly home. Well guess what Mr JR had done for me when I flew back in. My truck was waiting for me at the airport and it was WASHED! Looked like a brand new truck after a long flight from Texas. I just had tyrrell do body work on my van and first of all they did an absolutely amazing job restoring it to a condition I haven't seen since I purchased it. They also provided awesome customer service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing body work done.
This is for the service department and note: this all happened from late May to Early August: I recently took my Corvette to Tyrell Chevrolet for service, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Initially, they diagnosed multiple issues, including the need for a new transmission, shock absorbers, and an oil gasket. After a month of waiting, I finally got my car back, only to face more problems. When I finally got my car, the rear driver's side mounting arm broke off the same day, causing the wheel to pop out and break the axle. This was clearly their fault, as those parts need to be removed when replacing the transmission (Their "Master" technician Ronny failed to properly install my mounting arm. I even found his flashlight on the car's frame.) The next morning, I demanded they tow my car and fix it, which they did, apologizing in the process. After another week, I got my car back, but it still had a bad alignment and lingering transmission problems. I took it back for diagnosis and possible new transmission warranty work, but it sat at their service department for another month without being looked at. During this time, I received no updates unless I called, and I was always told, "no updates yet, we hope to look at it soon." The service advisor even lied, claiming the car was being warrantied out by GM, despite the car being 8 years old and no longer under factory warranty. Eventually, the advisor recommended I speak with the shop manager, as the technician was not providing updates. When I went to see the manager, he had no idea who I was and didn't even greet me properly. He promised to call with an update, but I decided to take my car to another Chevy dealership in a different city. (Dellenbach Motors, Fort Collins) They swiftly took care of my car's issues within a week. Throughout the repair process, I had to call multiple times for updates, as they never called me back as promised as well. I do not recommend Tyrell Chevrolet for their poor service, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism.
I brought my car in for the free oil change and received from when I purchased my car only to get a phone call that a headache expired, which turned this into a $97 oil change!!!!!. Not only were they the rudest, Most unprofessional Group of people, but during this time I got a phone call that my daughter had got hurt and may have concussion. I called my fiancĆ© to have him call and make payment so that I could pick up my car. It was so close to closing time, they were only worried about their payment. Well, weāre worried about getting my daughter to the doctor in the vehicle that they have, the manager decided to tell us ācall an ambulance, Are you gonna make the payment or what?ā Well, we made the payment and they shut the shop down and left my car outside with the keys in it and unlocked after they closed the business. No-one called me, or said anything to anyone for that matter. There was nobody around when I picked up my car. Anybody couldāve just robbed anything that was in my vehicle, or taken my entire vehicle itself!!!! I still canāt even believe that this is how it went. This is crazy to me.
