My stay was satisfied by the Nurses who were very attentive to my needs and listened carefully when I would ask for assistance but all I wanted to do was return home as soon as possible being without medical insurance I could not afford to be placed in a rehabilitation facility so rather good or bad came back home. Things haven’t been easy with the falls but alll apart of getting back on my own two feet. Husband doesn’t keep a close eye on me and so the seizures are happening again but in my sleep all caused by stress I believe. Still no definite answers and more medications added to the overwhelming hospital and doctors bills. My family physician had no clue about the situation and stay at the hospital for fifteen hard days. I’m looking to find a better family doctor one who has a great bedside manner and can work with me on payments. You would think if you needed some medications they wouldn’t suggest a psychiatrist who evidently takes her job as seriously as the doctor who told me to reach out to her over video chat do not find that personal care and hands on. I’ve never been more let down by a family doctor or psychiatrist as I have been here in North Vernon Indiana .Best Regards

They have rescheduled my father’s heart surgery two times after he has arrived and been waiting in a bed. The second time, they said they just wanted to keep the OR free in case of an emergency. This man doesn’t live near the hospital. TWO TIMES he has made travel arrangements and fasted for 15 hours just to be told to go home. I have never heard of a hospital denying someone care “just in case” something more important happens. We will definitely consider a lawsuit if this situation is not resolved.

Be aware, they will not communicate with you ahead of time on labs that your insurance may not cover lab orders written by your doctor and then you’ll end up suddenly with an unannounced $1,000 bill. Upon calling insurance I was informed this particular hospital is aware they may not cover and often don’t but they don’t say anything to you, it’s in the fine print but you’re busy being rushed along to go back and do labs so you don’t get time to read all that then you are stuck with a big bill. They’re also the most self profitable hospital system in Indiana with the highest rates. Just fair warning.

Have to leave one star to leave a review. You don't even deserve that. Shame you are more worried about getting permission from the VA to treat a heart condition. One that has had over 20 heart attacks in 2 years. One in you ER 2 weeks ago. One that you head of cardiology referred across the street. One he told them I needed heart surgery to live. But they insisted on screwing around with excuses. Your mental health isn't much better, wasting even more time. Primary care, not even a Dr's office, a referral clinic. For someone who is on the edge of being dead, you sure take your sweet time to help. Best advice to people in need care from you, find a good veterinary clinic.
