Hey, I need to vent a bit about my experience today at Glen Hill Clinic in Whitby. 😞 I went there to register as a patient and book a family doctor appointment. When I entered the clinic through the pharmacy, where I usually get my medications and it's my registered pharmacy, both pharmacists treated me terribly. 😠 This is NOT how patients should be treated, especially when they have an appointment scheduled. If the clinic had been closed, they could have told me calmly. Instead, they abruptly and rudely shut the door right in front of me while I was a bit surprised and waiting at the clinic door. 🤯 I had already called earlier in the morning and made arrangements to come at 4 PM. The staff had agreed to my visit. I was a little late due to traffic on Taunton, but that doesn’t justify their behaviour at all. 😤 I’ve never seen such disrespect from pharmacists before, and honestly, the owners should be responsible for properly training their staff to treat patients with kindness and respect. 👎 And let’s be real – this is just a doctor’s office, not a jewellery store. 💎 Yesterday at 7 PM, I even went and took the visiting card; no one blocked me from entering the doctor's office. At the same time, I picked up my medications from the pharmacy, so I was also expecting a smooth process today. Instead, I was treated like an inconvenience. Just really disappointed by the whole experience. 😞 Hope this gets addressed because patients deserve better. 🙏 I need to get this off my chest. Most importantly, these pharmacists insulted me very badly 😞, even though I'm older than both of them. They should have treated me with more respect and care, especially since I had decided to use this pharmacy as my personal one and was planning to change my Family doctor to someone from that clinic. It's honestly one of the most disheartening experiences I've had in my life. I expected professionalism and kindness, not disrespect. Just feeling really let down right now. I cannot help but wonder where this pharmacy finds its staff; they seem to lack even the simplest sense of empathy. The man behind the counter wore a cross, yet his actions made him a burden for anyone seeking help. He seemed unaware of the symbol's meaning, and his attitude showed no hint of courtesy toward patients. When someone arrives with a simple question or request, the staff responds with baffling behavior. What struck me most was when a woman from behind the counter stepped out just to watch me as I left and got into my car. I have never experienced such humiliating treatment in Canada before, nor have I ever expected it, especially at a doctor's office.

Fabulous staff. You can call and they actually pick up the phone, unlike shoppers drug mart. You can even request refills on WhatsApp. Such an upgrade to move to this pharmacy. Kudos.

My whole family including myself have been dealing with Edward and staff for over 27 years!! He is very knowledgeable and funny. They all go out of their way all the time. Thankyou Anna-Lisa!!!! Your the best!!! Don't tell Edward he'll get jealous. Lol🙂
