I went to Glen Ivy with three friends on Sunday, and unfortunately we were all very underwhelmed with the entire experience. First off, the customer service was disappointing. I tried to book a service ahead of time using my own credit card, but because my name wasn’t the one on the reservation, I was told I couldn’t — even though I was offering to pay for myself. My friend had to call back and handle it, which was inconvenient and made no sense. It felt like they were turning away business instead of trying to accommodate guests. On top of that, just getting through to someone on the phone was a long, frustrating wait. Once we arrived, it was extremely overcrowded. Online it looked like day passes were sold out, yet people could still call in and book, which explained why it felt so packed. The atmosphere was more like an adult waterpark than a spa — noisy, chaotic, and not relaxing at all. The facilities themselves were not impressive either. The locker rooms offered no real amenities and felt dirty and unkempt. The only part we somewhat enjoyed was the mud pool, but even that felt basic compared to other spas I’ve visited. Overall, Glen Ivy is misrepresenting itself by calling this a “spa.” If you’re looking for a relaxing, clean, upscale spa experience, this is not it. It’s essentially an overcrowded pool park with some add-ons. Definitely not worth the hype or the price.

People often come here with couples or groups but I have been here 4 times always solo and have always had a terrific time. Almost invariably, it is unseasonably hot the day I go. Go early or late if that is the case. I have been here in the evening to closing and it is just as fun as daytime. The grounds are lovely and layered with interesting flora to enjoy while steaming in the waters.

I visited Glenn Ivy to celebrate my GF's birthday! i booked a couples massage and a facial and we had brunch after. we went swimming in several pools, took the mud bath, and exfoliated. the experience was rejuvenating and felt like an escape from California. We can't wait to make a return visit!

I was treated to Glen Ivy for my birthday by my partner, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, I was smiling ear to ear. We were welcomed by the peaceful labyrinth and started our day with deeply relaxing facials that left me absolutely glowing. What truly impressed me was the wide range of wellness offerings. Glen Ivy has something for everyone—massages, group fitness classes, and several spa pools spread throughout the property, each with its own vibe and healing benefits. Whether you’re soaking in the mineral-rich waters, detoxing at the Mud Club, or simply lounging under the palm trees, you feel wrapped in peace and rejuvenation. We grabbed drinks and enjoyed the main spa pool, then explored the mineral spa and the signature red clay Mud Club—it was such a fun and unique experience. The property also features plenty of comfortable lounge areas where you can truly unwind. We did stop for a bite to eat, and while the menu had a nice variety, my only critique is that my partner’s steak came out cold. After already waiting a while, having to wait again was frustrating—especially after spending the whole day in the sun and needing proper nourishment. That said, everything else about Glen Ivy made the day incredibly special. From the treatments to the atmosphere and amenities, it’s a one-of-a-kind wellness destination. I’d absolutely love to come back again!
