I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this one is important for students dealing with pain. I visited the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic for ongoing back issues, but the experience was frustrating. The treatment felt rushed and generic, with no focus on my specific pain patterns or basic suggestions like supportive footwear or custom exercises, which can significantly impact back alignment. After two sessions with no improvement and worsening symptoms, I went to Corbett Hall at the University of Alberta. The difference was amazing; the physiotherapists there listened, properly assessed my condition, and tailored the treatment to my needs. If you are looking for proper care, I recommend skipping Glen Sather and going to Corbett Hall instead. Sometimes age doesn't reflect the quality of care you will receive. Learn from my experience and protect yourself.

Glen Sather Clinic is a wonderful place to go to and I would recommend this place as Elizabeth Clark is wonderful, caring and she knows her patients needs and wants. She replies back to my email even though she doesn’t have to and she even call to explain to me about the exercises over the phone via email when I fell from watering the plants at home. I’m glad she recommended In Step Physical Therapy to me for balance work because In Step Physical Therapy is also a wonderful place to go to because after you finish at In Step Physical Therapy they print you out exercises sheets with pictures and they staple the exercises and write on it which exercises are for which for example they print out several leg exercises and they staple it and write leg exercise on the sheets so you can do at home yourself after finishing physio with them. Very well organized. I would recommend both places. Thank you Elizabeth.

Had the pleasure of meeting Katie today. She had a very nice male student with her and I forget his name(sorry), but I have to say they were both absolutely lovely. I have been experiencing knee pain for the last 2 weeks and after a quick visit and assessment with them I feel so much relief. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I had accessed this clinic for privately paid physiotherapy services in the past and due to a recent injury I was looking to get back in and seek some care when I learned that they are closing in January. What a shame that provincial funding cuts to post-secondary have resulted in this clinic ultimately closing after 35+years of service. A real loss for our community and our health care system.
