Customer experiences
I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. First delivery attempt: No recipient was available—this was understandable. Rescheduled delivery: I called and scheduled it for July 28 at 5 PM. No one showed up. Follow-up: A customer service representative (CSR) called a week later asking when they could deliver. I explained that it’s their responsibility to inform me of the delivery time, since the first request was not followed, not the other way around. The CSR responded rudely, saying that if I didn’t cooperate, they would return my package. New agreement: We agreed on a delivery for Tuesday, August 5 at 5 PM. Again, no show. Another call: The same CSR called on August 6, admitted they missed the August 5 delivery, and rescheduled for August 6 at 5 PM. Yet again, no delivery. This experience has been frustrating due to: Inconsistent scheduling Lack of accountability Unprofessional and rude customer service

Would give 0 stars if possible. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using GLS Logistics Systems Canada, no matter how competitive their rates might seem. We had multiple parcels delayed for over 10 days in Vancouver, with the explanation that the weather was poor. However, during this time, Vancouver experienced typical weather conditions—nothing extraordinary to justify such significant delays. It was later revealed that the delays were caused by packages being incorrectly scanned, leading to confusion and further issues. The tracking system also falsely indicated a delivery attempt, but we were present all day, and no delivery occurred. When we followed up, we were informed that the packages would not be delivered until the new year, despite the tracking information suggesting otherwise. Customer support even attributed the delays to Canada Post, which, in my opinion, reflects a lack of accountability and preparedness on GLS’s part. These delays have directly impacted our business, as some clients have requested refunds due to the unexpected delays, resulting in financial damages. Because of this experience, we’ve strongly recommended to our suppliers to stop using GLS and advised others who ship frequently to consider alternative companies. If you’re looking for reliable shipping services, I recommend exploring other options.
Very poor service. We had a very important, time-sensitive parcel to be delivered from a shipper in Ontario. The tracking said "Good news! Your parcel is out for delivery today!". The parcel never arrived. Upon speaking to their customer service several times, I was told that the driver dropped it off on October 23rd. He did not. We were home all day waiting for this parcel. The driver himself contacted me and insisted he dropped it off. Our security cameras showed he did not. Customer service assured me that they were sending the driver back to the location where he actually did drop it off. We never heard from them again. This parcel was fine art prints of my son's for an art show. Almost a month later, still no package. There was never a delivery scan or photo of the delivery on the doorstep, so no actual proof of delivery, just a weird suggestion that we were not being honest. Now my son's artwork is out there somewhere. Maybe someone thought it was cool and decided to keep it. This is deplorable business practice. This cost us a great deal of stress AND money.
