Walked into ER last night due to motorcycle mishap. Got 12 stitches total and wanted to mention Dr Gardner and Nurse Toni. Both went above and beyond to keep me from leaking on floor. Got patched up and prescribed the correct antibiotics. Thanks again, very professional!

Had my baby back in December. I honestly loved my L&D experience. All the nurses were so great, the only thing I absolutely hate is their billing department. They are terrible to work with. For the last 6 months they have been trying to send me to collections over a bill that was already paid by my insurance in full. Everytime I have to go through the issue of getting it confirmed through my insurance that it has been paid and they confirm that they'll update their records, just to send me a notice again a week later. It has been such a headache.

If I could give zero stars I would. Took my one year old to the emergency room this weekend and was told to wait, without being given a timeframe and no one even checked his vitals. Just took my info and told me to wait. Luckily I realized their incompetence and went to urgent care. The lovely staff there informed me my son’s oxygen levels were low, his heart rate was high, and his fever was at 101, I was informed this was an emergency situation and to take him to the emergency room WHERE I JUST WAS. The fact that there is not protocol to take a toddlers vitals after being told the child has a fever that the mother can’t break and is lethargic is ridiculous and dangerous. This was the scariest experience of my life and I can 1000% say that mountain west medicals emergency room staff contributed to this experience.

No issues with the hospital, but we have now had 2 issues with the MRI company they use. They will not bill my insurance and then send us directly to collections. I've had my insurance company on the line with them while they blame my insurance. When my insurance company starts arguing with them, they begrudgingly get it resolved. The hospital needs to get a better imaging company as Utah Imaging Associates is nothing but problems and since the hospital uses them, it reflects poorly on the hospital.
