I’ve been using Staines MOT Centre for over 15 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism, technical expertise, honesty, and genuine willingness to help are OUTSTANDING. Most recently, my car broke down and the AA took it to another garage, who were unable to identify the fault and advised me to take it to a Citroen dealership. The dealership then quoted £3,400 for multiple repairs as an initial “first check.” Before proceeding, I spoke to Jo and her team at Staines MOT Centre about the situation, they took the time to listen and advised me to bring the car to them instead. They sent the engine ECU to a specialist and correctly identified it as the root cause, explaining that it was triggering false faults in other components that were actually fine. This diagnostic work cost just £178 and gave me the confidence and evidence to return to the dealership and insist they replace only the ECU (£1,300). The issue was completely resolved. A huge thank you to Jo, John and the team — they saved me around £2,000 and a great deal of stress. Their integrity and expertise are exactly why I’ve trusted them for so many years. A truly exceptional garage that I cannot recommend enough.

This garage is the definition of an honest & trustworthy family run business that is becoming so rare to find these days, especially in the motor industry. The first time I used them was purely because they were right across the road from me and I am so glad I did.
