Third year I have used the Halfords garage in Pear tree Rd, Colchester. I always feel they do an honest job and are customer focused. Front staff are friendly. Prices are good especially joining the Premium club, and better than local garages and my dealership. I also buy tyres from them, again with the club discount they become very favourable for good branded tyres

Had a new set of tyres fitted here and very pleased with the service. The guys in reception are very friendly and helpful and the estimated time given for the work was bang on.

After managing to get a last minute MOT retest then arrived and was told they could not retest because it was Motd elsewhere. You are legally allowed to take any failed vehicle back to any garage for a retest once work has been carried out. I will not be using Halfords again after I received such poor service this afternoon.

I stopped off at the Halfords in Colchester (Andorra) as I’d accidentally driven over some glass, and asked if they’d possibly be able to check my tyre before a long drive. Straight away the team swooped a member to fit my check in. Terry swiftly checked the tyre, confirmed he couldn’t see any glass but got any stones out, which was a bonus! He sprayed the tyre to further check and was so helpful and reassuring. I’m so grateful for their check, it was kind and reassuring and I’m so grateful for their help. And I would refurn for any issues or work needed on my car. Thank you so much again Terry!
