I booked my Jaguar XE in for headlamp bulb upgrades, I did this using the online service and paid in advance. When I arrived with my car at the agreed time I approach the counter and explained what I was having new bulbs fitted today. The assistant behind the counter smugly replied “not here you’re not” And proceeded to tell me that it was far too complicated a job on my car and that Halfords do not fit bulbs to my brand of car. I asked why then did the online system allow me to book the car in and that this was very inconvenient for this now to be refused as I had taken the day off work In order to attend at the appointed time. Without any apology, the assistant Continue to explain why it was a too difficult job for them to do. The saving grace here was that the fitter overheard and calmly apologised for the misunderstanding and said he would fit the bulbs for me as planned. Within no time at all, he had the job done, he was friendly and reassuring, a total legend. Unfortunately, I did not make a note of his name. So in summary the Customer Care at the counter was appalling but the fitter in this particular store (Midsomer Norton) saved the day! Five stars for the fitter, no stars for the customer care at the counter!!

Twice now couldn't/wouldn't change bulb on a corsa for me, despite other halford stores such as brislington doing it with no issues whatsoever. Maybe don't advertise that you'll do things if your staff aren't competent enough. Poor service, will avoid this store

Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable staff. They were all extremely helpful when I had questions regarding child seats.

Unfortunately I travelled from Bath to MSN under the impression that they were going to fit my reversing camera, however on arrival I was told that this depot does not fit these and I have to book with another depots. The fitter Mark was very helpful but was unable to help me further. I would suggest that it’s made clear on their site information that this is not a fitting depot.
