The Cliff House is a jewel resort in Southern Maine that offers a five star experience in every aspect. Besides an incredible location overlooking an impressive wall of glacier formed rock walls and miles of ocean, this resort offers great restaurants, a well trained staff and extremely comfortable sheets and beds. |The expansive view of the horizon and ocean we saw from the comfort of our bed, gave us the feeling of being on an ocean liner without the turbulence, The house keeping was the best we ever experienced. Housekeeper Tracey Anne went above and beyond and created a sculpture out of towels of two love swans to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Now that's exceptional! ||Not only was our room spotless and organized each day, the entire facility was well maintained and very very clean. There is obviously a lot of staff to keep this place running smoothly and efficiently thereby making sure every guest is happy.||The interior design of this resort is well appointed and gives one the feeling of calmness and relaxation. We love the color palette and design elements supporting the nautical theme.|The Concierge's were super - Tess and Chloe were a delight and very helpful. |Together with several other concierges, all our reservations and daily itineraries were seamlessly arranged.||The spa is worth every penny - great ambiance and terrific pros running the place. Zoey was a terrific young therapist.||Besides the staff, senior management cares just as much for the guest experience. I met manager Andrew Bartlett who greeted me as I walked by. He offered any assistance I might need - but his staff is so buttoned up - "hello" was all I needed.||If you want an unforgettable breakfast or dinner - The Tiller Restaurant offers incredible food and service with some interesting twists on usual favorites.||So... can't wait to get back soon. We attended a wedding at The Cliff House in Maine last week and stayed for two nights — it was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking setting. The property sits dramatically over the cliffs, and our waterfront room had views that felt straight out of a postcard. The grounds are immaculate, and you can tell there’s true attention to detail in everything they do, from the landscaping to the elegant common spaces. The staff was warm and attentive, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The wedding itself was magical, and the Cliff House proved to be the perfect venue — blending natural beauty with world-class service. On top of that, the food was a 10/10. Every meal we had was outstanding, fresh, and full of flavor.
