The place was in a nice, quiet area. However, when you first arrive, there's a lot of construction, and the front of the building is completely blocked off. Because of the construction and remodeling, you have to walk around to the back. The path to the back is dark and not well-lit. If you visit at night, the water fountain is on and illuminated, but it doesn't stay on for long. It also isn't on during the day when you check in. The staff was very friendly and helped us get checked into our room. The first room we entered was nice, but the stairs to the loft where the bed was located were very steep. So, we switched rooms. The pirate room we ended up in was interesting, but the air conditioner didn't work well, making it quite hot. There was also a bad smell, like mold and mustiness from the hot tubs. To get into the hot tub, you had to crawl over a barrel. You can see it in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The carpet was decent. They had a bar in the lobby, but it didn't stay open very late. There was an elevator, but it had a moldy smell. They sprayed a lot of air freshener to cover up the mold smell, but it didn't last long. For the price, it wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

My partner and I had the most unforgettable stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and perfectly suited for a romantic getaway. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made sure every detail of our stay was flawless. Our room was beautifully designed—modern yet cozy—with a stunning view that made mornings and evenings so special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches, like soft lighting, plush robes, and a bottle of wine waiting for us, made the experience feel extra thoughtful.What really stood out was how peaceful everything felt. It was the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, creating an environment where we could truly relax and enjoy each other’s company. If you’re looking for a romantic escape, this hotel is absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

Reception was great so our overall customer service was nice but for the price spent, the room was not in good condition. we booked the room specifically for the jacuzzi tub and it was not in good shape, jets in the tub have obviously not been cleaned in a long time and parts needed to be replaced. I ran the jets in the tub and water came out black and slimy. I asked the front desk to have house keeping clean it while we were out and it got a wipe down and that was about it. There was also obvious damage in the room that clearly needs replacing. Our overall stay was nice and quiet and the fountain was nice but again for the price I would at least expect a nice room.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience definitely deserves one! We stayed at Castaway from August 22–23 for my husband’s birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, the view was breathtaking, and the jet tub was such a relaxing bonus. I had also paid ahead of time for rose petals to be placed on the bed (which I totally forgot about). When my husband went upstairs to the bed, I suddenly heard his reaction ,he was clearly surprised and amazed. That’s when I remembered the petals! I went up and saw them arranged in the shape of a heart , it was so romantic and made the moment feel extra special. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable.
