A perfect score for Sales Representative Nishtha. From the moment I walked into the store, she took the time to understand what was important to me. She was never rushed, always responsive, and consistently answered my calls and emails. She made sure I ended up with exactly what I wanted. A special shout-out to Tracy, the designer—what a great team they make. I will never shop anywhere else for furniture. With these two, I received exceptional service, clear communication, and continued support right through to delivery and setup in my home. I truly shopped around, and these two ladies made Burlington La-Z-Boy a perfect experience from start to finish.
We were just going in "to look". As I walked in (my husband and son came in a few minutes later), Raman was at the front of the store looking very sharp in a blue suit. He greeted me in a relaxed friendly manner and immediately started to ask the right questions as to what our needs were. I explained we were downsizing and had very limited space. Did we want recliners or stationary, couch or loveseat? Since this will be our only living space on the main floor, we wanted comfortable and reclining without looking bulky. He lead us to a recliner that was perfect. Then we talked about a loveseat and he suggested the same chair but only in a loveseat. Perfect again. Picking fabric, easy again. This salesman knows his product and his customer. We didn't even look at any other style as what he showed us was perfect. This kind of bespoke sales experience is few and far between today. I had the dimensions of the room, so he took us to the designer Tracy (also dressed very nicely) and she showed us our room with the suggested furniture on a large TV screen as we sat at a table in a private area at the back. She confirmed that our choices would fit into the room nicely and we were even able to try the furniture in different locations. WHAT a fantastic service. These people know what they are doing and how to make the process pleasant and smooth. Tracy advised that we purchase a rug to pull the room together. She picked out 2 samples and the first one she laid down next to our fabric choices was perfect. Wow. We went in to look and ended up purchasing including 2 ottomans. The total was a bit more than we were expecting to spend, but we have purchased furniture from Lazyboy previously on multiple occasions and have always been happy. Both Raman and Tracy discretely stepped away to allow us to discuss the costs. NEVER did we feel pressured. Both Tracy and Raman were relaxed, very friendly and personable. I felt they both just wanted to help us acheive the look and comfort (and best price) we were looking for. We left with a feeling of confidence and confirmation that we made the right choice going to Lazyboy in Burlington.
Bought a Lazy-Boy recliner a little less then 2 years ago from this store. All was fine and was perfectly happy until a couple months ago when the arm cushion came detached and slid down into the fabric leaving only the hard frame for arm support. Given it was over 1 yr the warranty was gone but I had purchased the insurance that proved to be useless. The insurance company said it counted as foam issues which they don't cover. Very disappointed to pay so much for a chair and buy the extended warranty to then be left with a faulty chair and nothing I can do about it. Couldn't be more disappointed by the product and the experience with both the store and the insurance. After posting this review Lazy Boy did respond offering some limited support. Although I appreciate they actually respond I also find it funny that when I called Lazy Boy originally to discuss my concerns, the rep clearly could not have cared less about offering support. When I asked if there was someone else I could talk to, they responded they do not escalate customer complaints. I wish Lazy Boy's response was anything more then just lip service due to a negative complaint
I recently purchased a swivel, rocker recliner from the Burlington La-Z-Boy store. I found it somewhat overwhelming to choose a chair from the many types and models offered. Both Nishtha and the store manager were great in guiding me through the selection process and helping me reach my soon-to-be “comfy” chair. I would strongly recommend visiting the Burlington store if you are in the market for a quality chair or sofa.
