I want to start by saying, as a wedding venue, The Herrington team is fantastic. My husband and I were returning to The Herrington to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at the place we got married. I booked the most expensive room. Upon getting our room keys and entering our room we found ourselves in a double full handicapped room. Not even close to what I booked. Went back to the desk, the concierge was very kind in trying to figure out what was wrong. Apparently the incorrect booking had been entered 2 days prior, by a manager even though I booked well in advance and received booking confirmation. So our anniversary room had been altered to a different one. They cancelled the room for us no problem free of charge but it was extremely disappointing for our 1st wedding anniversary. Hope these booking discrepancies are addressed in the future.

This beautiful establishment hosted my friends' baby shower and it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. This space was perfectly accommodating, with a great view from their outdoor space just outside the dining area. In addition to the great atmosphere, the food served was delicious all around as well. Glowing reviews and smiles could be found around the room. Much appreciation to the Herrington for hosting this event!

Excellent location. We had a wedding gig here. Courtyard is well decorated and a prime location for a small to medium size wedding party. Reception area has a unique layout. Definitely a good location if youre looking for some historical flair

We were there for a family wedding. 1. The location was great-right on the river with just an incredible view-not looking out on some motel parking lot, walking distance to Geneva shops, and great location all around. We should have taken bikes as there were bike paths up and down the river. 2. The staff was very helpful. 3. The restaurant was nice-GF bread available for those who need it. 4. Room was fine and nice sized. Comments. the "starter" breakfast was just a few muffins. But, the coffee was just fine. While the room was nice, it is starting to look like there is a need for increased maintenance. In any event, we would not think twice about staying there again.
